[This is preliminary documentation and is subject to change.]

Occurs when Javascript in the page calls window.close.

Namespace: Awesomium.Windows.Forms
Assembly: Awesomium.Windows.Forms (in Awesomium.Windows.Forms.dll) Version: 1.7.0.5 (1.7.0.5)

Syntax

C#
public event WindowCloseEventHandler WindowClose
Visual Basic
Public Event WindowClose As WindowCloseEventHandler
Visual C++
public:
virtual  event WindowCloseEventHandler^ WindowClose {
	void add (WindowCloseEventHandler^ value);
	void remove (WindowCloseEventHandler^ value);
}

Implements

IWebView..::..WindowClose

Remarks

You can ignore this event, or respond depending on the current context. For example, if the page is open in the main window of an application or a tab, browsers display a confirmation dialog asking the user if he wants to acknowledge the page's request.

If the page is open in a popup window, browsers usually respect the request and close the popup window, without any confirmation from the user.
